Is there anyone who doesn’t love homemade cake? We’re hosting a layer cake workshop on April 16th from 9am-12pm EST at the Gelateria right next to Sotto la Stelle.
In this class, you’ll learn how to decorate a 6-inch double-layer vanilla chiffon cake with your choice of olive oil, strawberry fennel, or passionfruit Swiss meringue buttercream.
You’ll learn how to mount a cake with buttercream, how to get a smooth surface for decorating, as well as learn various piping techniques.
There will be delicious toppings and spring flowers from Ora La Casa de las Flores to decorate with, and you’ll get a chance to meet your cake-loving neighbors here in Sunnyside!
